This role would suit digital marketer with solid design/Canva skills, in addition to customer service experience.
As our Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Executive, you will work with the Head of Marketing to create digital campaigns that promote our B2B events to our target audiences.
Once attendees register to attend our events, you will be responsible for the delegate journey from initial conversation and event booking to post-event communications. You will ensure that the registration and confirmation processes are simple and smooth whilst ensuring the delegates' information is recorded accurately on our CRM (Hubspot) for future marketing purposes.
And, because attendees can register for our events as far as 6-9 months in advance, you'll oversee communications campaigns to keep those attendees engaged from the time they register until our operations team take over just before each event.
You'll also look for opportunities to automate our communications and processes, freeing up time to provide attentive and friendly customer service.
This role is ideal for somebody who has both digital marketing and customer service skills, and who is confident communicating with people over phone, email and face to face. You should also have experience of working with a CRM system and be comfortable with managing data and automating workflows.
Duties and responsibilities
While we expect everyone in the company to pitch in when needed to get things done, your specific responsibilities will be to:
Work closely with Head of Marketing on delegate marketing strategies and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to the creation of email campaigns in HubSpot, the creation of social media posts and campaigns, and on data research and analysis
Use Canva to design digital media assets
Manage delegate enquires
Manage delegate information on our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring that records are updated and accurate, including the final list for circulation
Communicate with our delegates over the phone and email before and after our events, and face-to-face at our events and using tools such as newsletters and surveys
Become a "super user" of our CRM (HubSpot)
Set up workflows for managing communications on CRM (HubSpot)
Attend our events which require an overnight stay, working alongside the team to deliver the events on the day
Requirements
Proven experience in digital marketing
Solid design skills - using Canva, or similar
Experience in customer service
Experience working with a CRM system, including automating workflows
Experience of implementing email campaigns
Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Highly articulate with impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Detail-orientated and analytical
Persistent, focused on results, and very attentive to the needs of our customers
Ideally, you'll be educated to degree-level.
Financials
The annual salary offered is circa 30,000, dependent on experience.
You'll report to Louise Gosling, Head of Marketing of Alternative Events. This role requires a minimum of two days per week in our Bournemouth office, which is near Bournemouth Airport. The remaining up to three days per week can be remote. You will also be expected to attend our events and to occasionally attend external industry events.
