The Role



Role Requirements:



We are seeking a Customer Relationship Manager to maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers. The focus is on managing the customer journey from enquiry through production and then delivery, ensuring high levels of service, and acting as a central point of contact across the business.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 37 hours per week (9.25 hours per day)

Salary depending on experience.

Car Driver essential.

Responsibilities



Manage and nurture relationships with high-profile customers, including global accounts Act as a project manager for customer enquiries, coordinating budgets, technical specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules Line responsibility for a Sale Coordinator team member Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth order progression Oversee pricing, quotations, and commercial aspects of customer projects Coordinate sample dispatches and manage lead times (typically 6-12 weeks) Work with export enquiries, supporting international customers Collaborate with the sales admin team, who handles day-to-day order changes, dates, and logistics Occasional customer visits UK wide

Personal Skills / Experience



Strong interpersonal skills, friendly and approachable, able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels Must have experience working for a manufacturing organisation & 5 years+ experience in a similar role Experience of line management responsibility Highly organised and able to manage complex projects from enquiry to delivery Commercially aware, with an understanding of pricing and budgeting Willingness to learn or experience in export processes and support to international business orders
