Job description



We are looking to train an individual across two sections of our business, one working in our small tooling store which involves picking and packing very small technical components with no heavy lifting. The second part will be in our customer service department which is dealing with customers via email and telephone, using our ERP systems to produce quotations and processing customer orders The role will be split 75/25 between the two job functions once training has been completed with customer service being the most dominant part.

We will mainly consider school leavers with no previous work experience.



What you'll do:

Deal with customer telephone enquiries Ensure products are picked and packed correctly Process orders and quotes Pick and pack small orders Audit stock levels Take customer orders and process efficiently Support customers technically over phone Liaise with external sales team Deliver outstanding customer service Book in customer returns Assist with logistic improvements and manage on time deliveries Ensure information provided to customers is clear, accurate and timely Managing your own workload and task list
What type of person will exceed in this role?

Someone who is passionate about their work, works well as a team and can work towards targets. A person with good IT Skills Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must. Ability to empathise and understand our customers Good Telephone manners A team player who works well with others
Salary and hours to be discussed at Interview. Full training will be provided.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-27,500.00 per year
