Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented customer service adviser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our optical practice, ensuring that patients receive exceptional service and care. This position requires a blend of technical skills and customer service abilities, making it ideal for individuals with a keen interest in helping people. No previous experience is necessary as all training will be given. Further developement would be supported.

Responsibilities

Dealing with customers face to face and also over the phone enquiries Meeting and greeting patients with a warm welcome when they enter the store Booking appointments for eye tests and hearing tests Helping customers choose frame, lenses, contact lenses Taking measurements for spectacles Processing orders for spectacles and contact lenses Providing guidance on eyewear care and hearing products and their maintenance Providing guidance to suit patient needs and lifestyle Carry out repairs/ adjustments and handle any concerns that a patient may have

Qualifications

First and foremost you must enjoy working with people. Previous experience in an optical setting or similar role is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies within the optical field.
