Job Title: Customer Service Stock Controller

Main Purpose:

We are seeking to recruit a reliable & hardworking Customer Service Stock Controller with strong attention to detail.

As the Customer Service Stock Controller your role will include key functional responsibility to manage our asset base in relation to stock. You will be the main point of contact for customer stock queries and play a key role in developing customer relationships through knowledge & education which in-turn will help to drive retention.

Operational Tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

Work across a multi-site customer base in East Anglia.
Follow a schedule of customer stock visits and diarise follow-up visits where required. Carry out desktop analysis to identify customer stock anomalies and recommended actions.

Where overstocking is found, withdraw excess stock from customers premises and return back to the laundry.*

Educate customers on stock control procedures and the importance of these to both the customer & servicing laundry.*

Build customer relationships to further aide account retention & contract renewals.*

Carry out full administration and Tikos updates following a stock count.*

Share relevant stock information with your line manager and the business in a timely and professional way.
Identify new prospects whilst out visiting existing customers within the East Anglia region.*

Act upon feedback from driver debrief process and other colleagues insight. (Overstocking, Static Deliveries etc)*

Skills & Experience:

Ability to work in a physically demanding role, as there will be a requirement for our stock to be withdrawn from customers premises.

Ability to work to a high standard with an attention to detail.

Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality and build relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds.

Good time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and plan work to meet deadlines.

Proactive, dynamic, making things 'happen'.

Excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills.

Full & Clean driving licence.

Other Responsibilities:

The company accepts, that from time-to-time difficulties will occur which may be outside the scope of your competence. In such situations, you should always refer the matter to your immediate manager, so that he/she may provide assistance to help you resolve the matter.
