Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with their inquiries, ensure their needs are met, and contribute to a positive dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections and food preparation inquiries. Ensure compliance with food safety standards while handling and serving food items. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring resolution to maintain high service standards. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Manage time effectively to handle peak service periods efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the food or restaurant industry, is advantageous. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial. Strong understanding of food safety protocols is essential. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards helping customers. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Time management skills are crucial for ensuring efficient service delivery in a busy environment.
