We are looking for people to join our Customer Services team working in the City Contact Centre, The Information Zone and Main Reception.

Responsible to the Team Leader, Customer Service Officers will respond to enquiries from the public on a wide range of Council Services.
Your aim will be to fully answer queries over the phone and in person initiating services for the customer in a friendly, helpful manner.
You will also identify any shortfalls in information provision to fully respond to public enquiries.
You will be educated to A-level standard or have at least 1 years experience in a call centre or customer services environment.
As an excellent team player you will have a good understanding of customer service principles and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
You will work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.
We encourage applications from individuals who can communicate effectively in Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Arabic as well as Welsh and English.
