SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated candidate who will work as Customer Service & Sales Agent, whose main role will be to deliver outstanding customer service to our customers, and to capture, administer & process orders.

What does the role involve?
As Customer Service & Sales Agent, you will take customer queries and orders over the telephone and process through the system, also advising on prices, stock position and delivery of goods. The role will involve in regularly engaging with the field sales team and you will be coordinating new customers along with general enquiries.

The successful candidate will require:

  • Excellent customer service, IT skills and educated to a good level of English and Mathematics
  • To be well organised and efficient in order to manage merchandise, promotions and price lists in line with the suppliers and sales team
  • Previous internal sales support experience, purchasing / sales order processing experience
  • If you have any knowledge of roofing or construction materials would be useful, however all product knowledge will be taught.
  • Actively involved in quote chasing and lead generation, as well as guarantee applications
