We are recruiting for a Customer Service Apprentice. The Customer Service Apprentice supports the customer service team in delivering a high standard of care to all clients. This role provides hands?on experience in a fast?paced logistics environment, helping the apprentice develop strong communication, organisaional, and problem?solving skills. Working alongside
experienced colleagues, the apprentice will learn how to respond to customer needs, support daily operations, and contribute to positive customer relationships.

Main Duties
Maintain a polite, positive, and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
Assist in responding to customer enquiries through phone, email, and online systems.
Support the team in ensuring customers receive timely updates on their shipments.
Help acknowledge and record customer feedback or complaints for senior staff to review.
Learn how to process customer orders and input data accurately into internal systems.
Assist with arranging collections or deliveries under supervision.
Support the team in keeping customer portals and internal records up to date.
Help gather PODs and other documentation required by clients.
Develop an understanding of Rhenus products, services, and basic logistics processes.
Gain introductory knowledge of customs requirements, documentation, and broker processes.
Shadow experienced team members to learn how to handle customer accounts and enquiries.
Participate in training to build confidence in problem?solving and communication.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to support smooth operations.
Share any issues, delays, or unusual customer requests with supervisors promptly.
Contribute to a positive team environment and assist others when tasks are complete.
