IDS is looking for a new member to join our Customer Support Team as a Customer Support Agent. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to IDS, DD and MDS customers whilst generating additional sales through understanding customer needs.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering our mission to Make Passion Possible for Dance Teachers and their students, through your enthusiasm, exceptional customer support skills, and ideally - love of Dance.
To be based from our offices in Newton Abbot, if this sounds like your perfect fit, then read on for the fuller specification. You will;
Take ownership of customer enquiries, quotes, and orders, proactively seeking answer's to queries via telephone, e-mail, live chat, social media, and in person
Provide support and comprehensive information to customers in a polite and professional manner
Achieve and exceed customer service targets and KPIs through prospecting, regular customer calls and understanding the customer needs
Know our products, seek cross and up-selling opportunities, increase individual order value and overall revenue through inbound and outbound customer communication
Accurately record and update all information using the internal systems
Resolve complaints positively, and understanding when to escalate
Promote team working by sharing knowledge and positively contributing to Team meetings
Maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data held in accordance with GDPR
Develop and maintain cross-departmental relationships, working in cohesion to find a solution, especially with sales and marketing
Keep up to date with and promote our value-added services and upcoming events
Assist with and attend events where required
