Role Overview

We're seeking an Experienced Customs Agent to take on a pivotal role in our operations. You'll bring your knowledge and attention to detail to manage complex customs declarations, advise clients on compliance, and help drive efficiency in cross-border trade processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process import/export customs declarations using HMRC/Revenue platforms.

Advise clients on classification, valuation, and origin of goods.

Ensure all customs paperwork is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.

Liaise with HMRC, Revenue, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth clearance.

Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior team members.

Stay current with evolving customs legislation and trade procedures.

What We're Looking For

2+ years' experience

in customs clearance or international trade compliance.

Strong knowledge of UK and Irish customs procedures, transit movements, and tariff codes.

Proficiency in using customs software platforms (e.g. CDS, AIS, NCTS).

A methodical and detail-oriented approach.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
