Role Overview



As a Trainee Customs Agent, you'll be trained by industry professionals to become proficient in handling customs declarations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and supporting businesses in their import/export operations. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, eager to learn, and looking to build a career in international trade and logistics.

What You'll Learn & Do



Assist in preparing and processing import/export documentation. Communicate with customers, carriers, and government agencies. Use specialist customs systems and software. Monitor and track consignments through the clearance process. Understand customs regulations, tariff codes, and procedures.

What We're Looking For



A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. Good IT and communication skills. A willingness to learn and adapt in a busy environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Previous experience in logistics or admin (preferred but not essential).
