Do you have a passion for cycling?





Are you already a qualified National Standards Cycle Instructor have the 1st4Sport Cycle Training qualification or would like to become one??



We are looking for individuals with a positive personality who are keen cyclists who would enjoy coaching young people the important skills of using their bike to travel on the roads safely.



Working in pairs under the direction of the Road Safety Officer you, will be required to help achieve national and local objectives in reducing child cycle casualties in Newport, by delivering practical cycle training within a school setting for level 1 and then on the road practical sessions for level 2 to children in years 5 & 6 at primary schools across the city.



You will need to have the ability to travel independently throughout Newport as this is a necessary to meet the requirements of this post.

Term time only



The successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
