Book internal and external training courses for employees, ensuring timely delivery of essential qualifications and renewals.
Notify supervisors and managers when staff training certificates/cards are approaching expiry.
Set up and manage apprenticeship training via the Apprenticeship Levy and coordinate with relevant training providers.
Monitor the shared Training inbox and respond to queries and booking requests.
Check, approve, and code training invoices for payment, ensuring cost accuracy and departmental allocation.
Assign training certificates/cards to individual employee records on company systems.
Apply for CITB grants where eligible and track progress and outcomes.
Conduct regular checks of the Sentinel Portal to track competency expiry and compliance.
Support reception and administrative tasks, including answering incoming calls when needed.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a training administration or co-ordinator role within the construction or industrial services sector.
Familiarity with CITB systems, grant schemes, and the Apprenticeship Levy process.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal training/HR systems.
Good communication skills and ability to liaise with internal teams and external providers.
