The Spark is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Training Co-ordinator

to join our dynamic Training Team. This role is essential in supporting the professional delivery of our training courses, including the coordination of trainee placements and certification processes.

About the Role



As a Training Co-ordinator, you will:

Provide comprehensive administrative support across our training and CPD programmes. Ensure the smooth onboarding and offboarding of students. Maintain accurate student and placement records. Liaise with internal departments (training, finance, marketing) to ensure effective course delivery. Coordinate trainer availability, training materials, room bookings, and support systems (including Moodle). Respond to enquiries with a warm, professional manner - whether via phone, email, or in person. Work collaboratively to support weekend training sessions when required.

What We're Looking For



Essential Skills and Experience:



Experience in a similar administrative role and customer care setting. Skilled in IT systems including Microsoft Office and Moodle (or similar VLE). Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills. A warm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach when working with students. Ability to handle sensitive information in line with GDPR and confidentiality policies.

Desirable:



COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate or Diploma in Counselling. Understanding of SQA and COSCA certification processes. Knowledge of the third sector and ethical frameworks relevant to counselling.
