We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Farm Manager to help run our spring-calving dairy unit on the stunning coast of South Pembrokeshire. About the Farm

We operate a New Zealand-style grazing system designed to maximise milk production from grazed grass. Our approach is simple, efficient, and focused on high animal welfare, productivity, and staff wellbeing.

Key features include:

1,200 crossbred cows in a seasonal calving system 40-point herringbone and 50-point rotary parlours Full-season grazing, including fodder beet in spring and autumn Wintering system combining cubicles and outwintering on beet Dedicated youngstock farm for heifer rearing 10-day fortnight work roster to support a healthy work-life balance

The Role

Working closely with the Farm Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations and leading the team.

Key responsibilities:

Grazing management - managing rotations and optimising pasture utilisation Milking leadership - overseeing parlour performance and maintaining high standards Herd health & performance - monitoring welfare and driving productivity Team leadership - supporting, motivating, and developing staff Technical skills - AI and foot trimming (training provided if required)

What We're Looking For

A skilled stockman with experience in grazing systems and seasonal dairying Strong leadership potential with sound decision-making skills Good working knowledge of milking, herd health, and farm maintenance AI and foot-trimming experience preferred, but not essential
