Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating young athletes in Dance techniques and safety. This role involves working with children of various skill levels, fostering their development, and ensuring a positive training environment. There will be possible PE lessons to structure, with support and an after school club to coach.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lessons tailored to support primary aged children. Educate children on proper techniques, safety protocols, and the importance of physical fitness. Monitor the progress of the children and adjust session plans as necessary to meet their goals. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for Dance among all participants. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good condition and that the training environment is safe. Communicate effectively with parents, and BM Youth to ensure everyone understands standards and expectations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in Dance or related disciplines. Strong understanding of Dance techniques and safety practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated. First Aid certification is desirable but not essential; willingness to obtain certification is required. A genuine passion for educating others and promoting physical fitness through and dance.
