About the Role

We're looking for a talented freelance dance teacher to lead after-school clubs for Primary school pupils in schools across Blackley/Oldham. These sessions run between 3pm and 4.30pm, with the role beginning in the new academic year (September 2025).

You'll be responsible for delivering inclusive and engaging Dance sessions that build confidence and creativity. We're looking for someone who can create a space where every child feels they belong whether they've danced for years or are stepping into a session for the first time.

Brings energy, warmth and presence to a room Understands how to engage and inspire young people Can work independently and manage a group with confidence Believes in the power of dance to build self-esteem and connection

Requirements

A recognised dance qualification (college, university or industry-accredited) Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one Availability between 3pm - 4.30pm during term time A full UK driving licence and access to transport First Aid certification is highly desirable Experience working with children aged 5-16 is preferred
