We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant dance studio.
We are looking to start with an after school club every thursday 3:20-4:20pm from September.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging dance classes for students of all ages and skill levels.
Teach various dance styles, ensuring that lessons are tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and performance.
Organise and prepare students for performances, competitions, and showcases.
Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the studio that promotes learning and growth.
Collaborate with other instructors to develop class schedules and curriculum.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and continue personal professional development in dance education.
Skills
Proficiency in multiple dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop) is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Excellent organisational skills to manage class schedules, student progress, and performance preparations.
Patience and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles among students.
Previous teaching experience or qualifications in dance education is advantageous but not mandatory.
A passion for dance and an eagerness to share that passion with others is crucial.
