. This role provides children with the opportunity to develop movement, coordination, confidence, and creativity through fun and engaging dance sessions.
The club runs for
one hour per week, Tuesday, 3:10pm - 4:10pm
, giving children a weekly chance to explore different dance styles, improve their technique, and enjoy performing in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during dance sessions in a safe and encouraging environment.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that develop coordination, rhythm, and confidence.
Encourage teamwork, self-expression, and enjoyment in dance.
Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children's progress.
Ensure the dance space and equipment are safe, organised, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading dance sessions for children.
Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and safe way.
Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
A background in dance education, performance, or teaching qualifications is highly desirable.
