Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team and teach dance within primary schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role offers an opportunity to share your love of dance while helping students develop their technique, confidence, and enjoyment of movement. Duties

Deliver engaging dance classes across various styles and skill levels, ensuring all students are motivated and supported. Demonstrate proper technique, posture, and movement to optimise student progress. Provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and boost confidence among students. Maintain a safe and positive school/studio environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Assist in the organisation of studio events, workshops, or community outreach programmes. Keep accurate attendance records and communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress or scheduling.

Skills

Proven experience in dance performance or instruction, with proficiency in multiple dance styles preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages. Strong organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage class schedules. Ability to demonstrate technical skills clearly while maintaining an encouraging teaching style. Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on student needs and feedback. A friendly, professional demeanour that fosters a welcoming environment for all participants. Relevant qualifications or certifications in dance instruction are desirable but not essential for enthusiastic applicants willing to learn on the job.

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour
