We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic
Dance Supervisor / Teacher
to run an after-schoolDance Club
at a primary school located15 minutes north of Derby
. This role offers children the opportunity to develop coordination, confidence, and creativity through fun and engaging dance sessions in a supportive environment.The club runs
Thursdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
(1 hour per week
).Key Responsibilities
Lead and engage a small group of primary-aged children in dance activities. Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions that develop movement, rhythm, and teamwork. Encourage confidence, self-expression, and enjoyment in dance. Maintain clear communication with parents and school staff regarding children's progress. Ensure the dance space and equipment are safe, tidy, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading dance sessions for children. Ability to motivate and inspire children in a structured yet fun way. Strong English communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and school staff. A background in dance education, performance, or teaching is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Work Location: In person
