Job Description

Part Time Dance Student Teacher to join friendly community Dance School of approx 70 students. Would ideally suit a dance degree student or graduate starting their teaching career as they have the opportunity to develop the role.. Teaching dance to 18mths-Adults in all Theatrical Styles Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acro, Street & Musical Theatre. Specialist eg. Street Specialist considered.

Candidate is to join a team of 4 staff, Principal, part time Dance Teacher, Assistant Teacher and Student Teacher/Assistant. This role can be another Student Teacher or Dance Teacher dependent upon their qualifications and/or experience and on-the-job training can be provided.

Recruited on a self employed/freelance basis, part time hours of at least 2 hours, likely within the range 2-4hours from Sept to Dec, likely to increase Jan-March and again April to June due to events offering extra hours. Shifts vary but can request regular days/hours. Must be available Tuesday evenings and/or Saturdays mornings (usually, but all day April-June). Other evenings Weds-Fri also available via shift rota.
