About the Roles
Schools Role:
Deliver fun and inspiring dance sessions in
primary and secondary schools
across North Tyneside and surrounding areas, particularly
before-school, lunchtime, and after-school clubs.
Main School Role:
Teach
Street, Contemporary, and Commercial
in our main school timetable, inspiring our dancers with fresh choreography and high energy.
We pride ourselves on high-quality dance education and are looking for instructors who will continue our high standards while making every child feel welcome, included, and confident.
Full training and lesson plans can be provided if desired.
Your Day-to-Day
Deliver engaging dance classes where children are encouraged to be their best while having fun.
Create and/or learn choreography and tweak sessions to suit your dancers.
Complete light admin such as registers.
Be professional, approachable, and ready to handle situations calmly.
Work as part of our supportive team while also bringing your own sparkle to classes.
Who We're Looking For
Someone
friendly, confident, and bubbly
who can create a positive atmosphere while keeping classes structured.
A strong
dance background
(teaching qualifications are a bonus, but ex-professional dancers are welcome and will be supported with training and shadowing).
Experience with school-aged children
is essential.
A good communicator who can build positive relationships with students, parents, and the team.
Reliable and punctual - our classes are busy and back-to-back, so great timekeeping is vital.
Someone looking for a
