We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching dance classes across various styles, inspiring students of ages 6-16. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love of dance while helping students develop their technique, confidence, and performance skills in a supportive environment.
Duties
Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Demonstrate proper techniques and choreograph routines to work towards a performance.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment at all times
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that promotes creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of dance
Skills
Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role with proficiency in multiple dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, contemporary)
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage class schedules
Creative mindset with a passion for dance and education
A friendly, approachable demeanour combined with professionalism and patience
