Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their dance skills while promoting creativity and self-expression.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive dance lesson plans tailored to the needs and skill levels of students. Instruct students in various dance styles, ensuring proper techniques and safety practices are followed. Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to express themselves through dance. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence. Organise and participate in performances, recitals, or competitions as required. Maintain an orderly and safe studio environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding progress, concerns, or upcoming events.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in one or more dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary). Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students. A passion for teaching and nurturing the artistic development of students. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Relevant certifications in dance or education are an advantage but not mandatory.
