Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join our vibrant dance studio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dance, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching students of all ages and skill levels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire others through movement and help students achieve their dance goals in a supportive environment.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels Demonstrate proper technique and choreography for different dance styles Provide constructive feedback to students to support improvement and confidence Prepare students for performances, competitions, or examinations as required Maintain a safe and positive learning environment at all times Assist with organising studio events, workshops, and community outreach programmes Monitor student progress and keep accurate attendance records Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop new programmes and curriculum enhancements

Requirements

Proven experience as a dance teacher or professional dancer with relevant qualifications Proficiency in multiple dance styles (street/ commercial, contemporary, acro, freestyle) is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students effectively Ability to demonstrate patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm in teaching diverse learners Relevant certifications or licences in dance instruction are preferred but not mandatory A passion for dance and education, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere Flexibility to work during evenings and also occasionally weekends for classes/ competitions.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
