We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. This role involves instructing students of all ages and skill levels, fostering a love for dance, and creating an engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality dance instruction in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary.
Develop lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Create a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
Organise and participate in recitals, performances, and competitions as required.
Maintain a clean and safe studio environment.
Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and class expectations.
Stay updated on dance trends and techniques to enhance teaching methods.
Requirements
Proven experience as a dance instructor or in a similar role is preferred. But not essential.
Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
A passion for teaching and inspiring others through dance.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A relevant qualification in dance or performing arts is advantageous but not essential.
