Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic
Dance Teacher / Supervisor
to run aDance Club
at a primary school inSalisbury
. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to inspire children, build their confidence, and develop their movement and dance skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.The club runs
Wednesdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
(1 hour per week
).Key Responsibilities
Lead and engage a small group of primary-aged children in dance activities. Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions that encourage creativity, coordination, and teamwork. Promote confidence, enjoyment, and participation in movement. Communicate with parents and school staff regarding children's progress. Maintain a safe and tidy environment for all participants.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching dance to children in schools, clubs, or similar settings. Ability to motivate and inspire young learners in a structured yet fun way. Strong communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and staff. A background in dance, performance, or teaching is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Work Location: In person
