Location: Shipston-on-stour and surrounding areas
We are hoping to expand our timetable for the new academic year, alongside passing over existing classes. Class locations are in areas local to Stratford-upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour and Wellesbourne.
We are looking for a teacher with experience teaching multiple styles.
Hours can be tailored to your availability but we have some specifically looking for:
Thursday - 3pm-4.45pm - Stratford-upon-Avon
Thursday evenings 1.5 hours - Shipston-on-Stour
Saturday morning 1.5 hours - Shipston-on-Stour
Saturday morning 1.5 hours - Shipston-on-Stour
Job Type: Part-Time
Responsibilities:
As a Dance Teacher at Atomic Dance, you will:
Instruct and lead dance classes with confidence and control.
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the skill level and interests of each class.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their dance goals.
Encourage independent, student led learning.
Choreograph and stage dance routines for performances.
Stay informed about current trends and developments in the dance industry to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the classroom.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
Previous Dance experience (all styles considered)
Teaching qualification with an accredited dance association (IDTA, RAD, BBO Ect) or a degree in dance/teaching/performing arts.
Enhanced DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications (we can assist with this if required)
Availability to teach classes during weekday evenings or Saturdays.
Driving license and access to a car.
