This position is to teach an after-school
dance club
at a school based in
Newcastle, ST5.
This will take place on a weekly basis,
term time only.
DAY & TIME - TBC
Responsibilities
Design and deliver dynamic dance classes tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
Teach various dance styles, ensuring students understand techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to reach their full potential.
Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their technique and performance.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
A background in performance is advantageous but not essential.
An enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or willingness to have a new one processed
