Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and inspiring
Dance Teacher / Supervisor
to lead an after-schoolDance Club
at a primary school inSwindon
. This role provides the opportunity to encourage children to develop coordination, confidence, creativity, and teamwork through dance in a fun and supportive environment.The club runs for
one hour per week, Wednesday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
, giving children a weekly opportunity to explore different dance styles and enhance their movement skills.Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during dance sessions in a safe and engaging environment. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical fitness, rhythm, and self-expression. Encourage confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment in dance and performance. Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children's progress. Ensure the dance space and equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading dance sessions for children. Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and creative way. Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff. A background in dance education or performance is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Work Location: In person
