Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate
Dance Teacher / Supervisor
to lead an after-schoolDance Club
at a primary school15 minutes from Warrington
. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through dance, helping them develop coordination, confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.The club runs for
one hour per week, Wednesday, 3:10pm - 4:10pm
, giving children a weekly opportunity to explore different dance styles and build their skills.Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise children during dance sessions in a safe and encouraging environment. Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions that develop physical skills, rhythm, and self-expression. Encourage teamwork, confidence, and a love for movement and performance. Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children's progress. Ensure the dance space and equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or leading dance sessions for children. Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and creative way. Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff. A background in dance education or performance is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Work Location: In person
