We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant dance studio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various dance styles and have the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching dance techniques, and fostering a love for dance within our community.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver comprehensive dance lessons tailored to the skill levels of students. Teach various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and performance. Organise and prepare students for recitals, competitions, and performances. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of dance trends and techniques to enhance teaching methods. Collaborate with other instructors to plan studio events and workshops. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred. Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages. A passion for teaching and sharing knowledge about dance. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Certification in dance instruction or related qualifications is an advantage but not essential. A commitment to fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 15.58-35.60 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 20 per week
