As our
Data and Reporting Manager
you will support and enhance the business systems and services in line with the requirements of the AIS group and its members.
This is a hands-on role to build and deliver technology solutions to provide comprehensive business intelligence to our business and the wider membership, utilising new and existing data products to overcome challenges and drive incremental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Work with SMEs to define requirements, build a data dictionary and guide users on best practice
Ensure robust procedures and processes are in place to ensure consistent reporting and high-quality outputs
Master data management, working with various teams across the business and our members to assure data accuracy for all data points
Work collaboratively across the business to ensure data governance and compliance standards are met in line with company standards
Deliver data quality assurance, ensure data accuracy and confidentiality are present throughout data processes and systems
Produce reports on ad-hoc and scheduled basis to meet business needs
Work with the team and the wider business to agree system requirements and assist with the design and implementation on existing or new solutions
Provide solutions to incidents, whilst adhering to SLA
Liaise with 3rd party software and service providers for application and systems support
Assist with the testing and release of reporting and data changes
Prioritise and manage workload effectively ensuring open incidents, BAU tasks and project work can be managed simultaneously
Carry out routine tasks such as system and performance monitoring, escalating issues where appropriate
Communicate updates, enhancements and issue resolutions to end users
Coach the data engineer to increase their knowledge and skills
Undertake any other duties as may, from time to time, be required by the Company
Skills & Experience
Required:
Advanced SQL and Data Analysis experience
Experience with BI tools, preferably Microsoft Fabric and Jet Reporting
Functional and technical understanding and competence
A confident communicator capable of owning projects with strong acumen for business analysis and user engagement
Confidence in training non-technical users
Understanding of data integrity, data quality issues, and end-to-end data flows
Desired:
Experience using cloud data warehouse technologies
