We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely entry of data into our organisation's systems. This position is ideal for someone with excellent keyboard skills, a methodical approach, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Inputting data accurately and efficiently into various computer systems and databases.
Reviewing data for errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and ensuring data integrity.
Maintaining and updating records as required.
Preparing and sorting documents for data entry.
Verifying and logging receipt of data and source documents.
Adhering to data confidentiality and security policies.
Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Assisting with the retrieval of information as requested.
Supporting other administrative tasks as required, such as scanning, filing, and basic reporting.
Skills & Requirements
Proficient typing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Previous experience in a data entry role is desirable but not essential.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday), with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to adjust hours based on business needs may occasionally be required.
