We're growing, and we need ahighly accurate and detail-oriented Data Processor to join our Operations team, transforming raw field data into actionable insights for our clients.

Your Mission:



As our Data Processor, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of our critical hydrological and site survey data. You'll play a pivotal role in transforming complex raw information into clear, visual, and client-ready reports, acting as a crucial link between our site crews and clients. Your meticulous work will directly contribute to our commitment to high quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:



Data Ingestion & Processing:

Request, receive, and meticulously process raw data packages from site crews (Depth monitors, Rain gauges, Flow monitors) using specialized software (e.g., Hydrolog) to create visual and readable client reports for short-term flow.

Quality Assurance & Verification:

Verify the accuracy and suitability of all processed data, ensuring it meets our rigorous standards and is fit for client distribution.

Data Recovery & Reporting:

Manually download and process data directly from monitoring systems when field data packets are unavailable, maintaining continuous reporting for clients.

Client Communication & Query Management:

Serve as a key contact for client site queries, addressing data-related questions via email and phone, and coordinating site-specific task requests with field crews.

Site Information Management:

Update and distribute comprehensive information packages to site crews, ensuring they have the latest client requirements and site-specific details.

Field Data Verification:

Critically review and verify site check sheets from field crews, cross-referencing data packet timescales, locations, pipe sizes, and flow rates with client queries.

Monitor Performance Tracking:

Extract key information from verified check sheets to maintain and update a monitor performance tab, tracking progress and identifying potential equipment issues throughout survey durations.

Clash Reporting & Mitigation:

Create, maintain, and issue a weekly Anglian Water (AW) EDM and Flow survey monitor clashes spreadsheet, detailing any entries that may have interfered with their pre-installed monitor systems (location, FM number, time, survey).

Pre-Survey Information & Mapping:

Proactively create and distribute essential pre-survey information for site crews, including printed and interactive location maps (FM, DM, RG) to aid in identifying primary and alternative monitor installation spots.

Report & Document Management:

Produce, check, and manage final reports, installation and maintenance reports (from Big Change), and works schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

CRM & Systems Maintenance:

Update and create detailed worksheets on the CRM system, ensuring all project and data information is current and accurate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Consult with operations regarding monitor removals and crew performance, providing data-driven insights.

What You'll Bring:



Data Processing Acumen:

Proven ability to manage, process, and verify large sets of technical data with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Software Proficiency:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially

Excel and Word

). Experience with data processing software (e.g., Hydrolog) and CRM systems is highly advantageous.

Communication Excellence:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (internal teams and clients).

Organisational Prowess:

Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple data streams concurrently, and meet strict deadlines (like the '2-day' turnaround). Meticulous record-keeping skills are essential.

Problem-Solving Aptitude:

A knack for identifying data discrepancies, troubleshooting issues with raw data, and finding effective solutions to ensure data integrity.

Proactivity & Initiative:

A proactive approach to identifying expanding responsibilities and a willingness to take ownership of new tasks, such as creating new reports or information packages.

Team Player:

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, eager to contribute to overall operational success by ensuring data accuracy.

Client Focus:

A commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate data and reports that meet client expectations and resolve queries efficiently.

Experience & Education:



Minimum of

2-3 years of proven experience

in a data management, data entry, or administrative role, ideally within a technical, engineering, or field-service environment. Demonstrable experience in processing raw data into client-ready reports. Experience in a role requiring direct client communication (email and phone) for queries and information exchange. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are essential.

Preferred:

Further education (A-Levels or equivalent).
