About the Role
We are working with a leading US law firm to hire a Data Protection Analyst in London. In this role, you'll support the risk and compliance function with a particular focus on data privacy, collaborating closely with colleagues across the business including legal, IT security, and compliance teams.
The firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with experience in data privacy or regulatory compliance, ideally within a law firm environment. You will have at least one to two years of relevant experience and a strong interest in developing your expertise in data protection across a global context.
The responsibilities will include:

Supporting data privacy projects and maintaining relevant frameworks
Coordinating privacy and security workstreams using project management tools
Managing data subject rights requests, including document review
Reviewing client and supplier contracts for data protection compliance
Maintaining records of processing activities across jurisdictions
Conducting assessments on new technologies and processes
Handling file transfers and data-related queries
Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting implementation
Contributing to wider compliance projects and regulatory alignment
Assisting with policy drafting and metric development
Responding to compliance-related queries
