The purpose of the role is to Work alongside existing administration, reception and dispensary staff to provide a sensitive, efficient and confidential service to patients Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone Submit and monitor Enhanced Service submissions Monitor QoF data and maintain accurate coding of disease registers Work with the Administration team to monitor Accurx messages, generic e-mails and investigate any coding queries. Facilitate effective communication between patients, members the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies Duties and Responsibilities Specific to this Role Maintain data quality within the practice by interrogating Ardens reporting tools including Ardens Manager Running searches to facilitate the accurate population of Enhanced Services submissions Declare Enhanced Service achievement using the CQRS portal and query any discrepancies in reporting numbers Run and build searches as required to support the practice to meet their reporting requirements Submit data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as required Administration and running searches to assist with audit and research Monitoring generic e-mail address in the absence of others Monitoring Accurx messaging sent to the practice Dealing with unallocated tasks in the absence of others Any other tasks which may be considered appropriate to the post of Data Quality Administrator Confidentiality In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters.
