Job Description

Lavender Court is a small, independent home who provide a homely environment for the residents that live there.

As a Carer at Lavender Court, you will be part of a team that provides the highest standards of care, safety and cleanliness for the people who live here. You will actively promote everyone's right to privacy, choice and independence and support our open, positive and inclusive culture.

Working in a holistic way you will be expected to make each residents day as fulfilling as possible through communication and compassion. You will also need to be able to complete digital care planning records to a high standard. We are looking for a talented individual to join us

Assist service users who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and personal care. Help and support service users with mobility impairments and other physical disabilities; help in the care and use of aids and personal equipment. Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking and supporting them. Engage in meaningful activities Answer call bells, the door and the telephone; if required Read and write reports in case notes. Complete in house training Administer medication once training and competency with medication is complete. You do not need to have worked in care before as full on going training will be provided.
Applicants must be 18 years and over and will be required to undertake a DBS (paid for by the company)

Day Shifts:

28 hours per week

7:00am-2:00pm/2:00pm-9:00pm

Possible option of 12 hour day shifts, please enquire

*Additional hours available to cover annual leave

Monday to Sunday pro rota

Pay: 12.30-18.45 per hour
