Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Working Hours - 10am to 2pm Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday

20 hours per week 52wk Contract

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and common areas regularly. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with colleagues and visitors.
