About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Day Nurse (RGN)

to join our nursing home team in Selby. This full-time role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent, person-centred care to residents while working alongside a supportive and professional team.

As a Day Nurse, you will play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, ensuring residents' wellbeing, and supporting the wider care team to provide safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans. Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Lead and support care staff, ensuring best practices are followed. Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and regular reviews. Work in partnership with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety, and company policies.
Requirements

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.

Previous care home experience is essential.

Strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices. Ability to lead, support, and mentor care teams. Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
