Job Description

Are you looking for a change, new challenges and different environment, look no further. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Deputy Manager to inspire and nurture young children and support and guide professional practitioners.

The ideal person will have to have a strong understanding of child development, early years principles and demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

As an Early Years Educator, you will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, foster positive relationships with children and families, and support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play.

As a Deputy Manager you will be the lead SEN support worker, leasing with outside agencies and supporting team members to deliver individual plans and activities to all children.

This is a full time 40 hours a week post working across 5 days a week, with a mix of room based education and office based support.

Responsibilities



Implement stimulating educational activities to the developmental needs of young children. Create a nurturing environment that promotes safety, independence, and curiosity among children. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning and individual support strategies. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent care and effective communication regarding children's development. Facilitate inclusive activities that respect diverse backgrounds and learning styles, ensuring all children feel valued and supported. Support the team with SEN plans, official paperwork and advice. Support children's social skills development through positive reinforcement, conflict resolution, and role modeling. Making sure the EYFS and Ofsted regulations are followed at all times.

Requirements



To have at least 2 years experience in a management role in the Early Years Proven experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles, including age-appropriate planning. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to manager room dynamics efficiently while fostering a positive learning environment for all. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and activity planning. Experience in supervising a team is essential. Familiarity with health and safety regulations Certification in first aid and child safeguarding is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain required certifications upon hiring is expected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.80-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
