A rare opportunity has arisen to join Baillieston Community Care as Day Service Manager at Bealach House, following the retirement of the current post holder.

We are a long-established charity with over 33 years' experience of providing high-quality, person-led care and support. In addition to Bealach House Day Service, we operate a range of services including Care at Home - supporting anyone over the age of sixteen with a disability - as well as Long-Term Care. Together, these services play a vital role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and social connection for older people, those living with dementia, and individuals with long-term conditions across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Day Service Manager

, you will:

Take full responsibility for the professional, safe and effective day-to-day management of Bealach House. Provide strong and supportive leadership to the staff team, ensuring excellent standards of care and support. Lead on staff recruitment, training, supervision and development. Work closely with clients, families, carers and professionals to deliver personalised, outcome-focused support. Develop and implement meaningful programmes of activities that encourage engagement, wellbeing and independence. Oversee client referrals, assessments and reviews, maintaining accurate records and promoting both funded and private day service places. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality assurance, health & safety and organisational requirements. Report directly to the CEO and contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation of Baillieston Community Care.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and experienced health and social care professional who can demonstrate:

SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) and/or a relevant management qualification. Registration with the Care Inspectorate/SSSC (or eligibility to register) as a Manager in Adult Day Services. Experience of leading teams and managing services in a health and social care setting. A clear understanding of the Health & Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice and regulatory requirements. Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills. A commitment to dignity, respect, choice and inclusion for all.
