Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that support the smooth operation of our restaurant while enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling items where appropriate. Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff in a timely manner. Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout service, including proper handling and storage of food items. Prepare and serve beverages as required, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Perform basic maths for processing payments accurately and efficiently.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Basic culinary skills are beneficial for assisting in food preparation when needed. Ability to upsell menu items effectively through excellent communication skills. Competence in basic maths for handling transactions accurately. A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
