This is a full-time Day Residential Support Worker role offering structured hours and a stable working pattern within an experienced and supportive team.
Competitive Pay and Sleep-In Enhancements
You will earn 12.50 - 14.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications), plus an additional 50 for each sleep-in shift.

Key Responsibilities
As a Daytime Residential Support Worker, you will:
Provide emotional, practical and therapeutic support to children and young people
Build safe, consistent and professional relationships
Support daily routines including meals, activities, appointments and education
Encourage independence and promote essential life skills
Uphold high safeguarding standards and follow behaviour support plans
Complete accurate, Ofsted-compliant reports and daily records
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
Promote inclusion, positive engagement and social development
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience supporting children or young people (residential care, social care, education, SEN, youth work or similar)
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm, resilient and consistent during challenging situations
Understanding of safeguarding, child development and professional boundaries
Flexibility to work full-time day shifts, including some weekends
Desirable:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
First Aid training
Experience supporting young people with emotional or behavioural needs
Full UK driving licence
