Responsibilities

Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of fresh ingredients.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies.
Assist in the development of cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation.
A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is essential.
Previous experience in team management is preferred but not mandatory.
