Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. This role requires a creative individual who can lead a team in a busy kitchen environment, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. Assist with the planning of special events or catering services as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is essential.
