Great opportunity for a Debt Collection Negotiator to work with our clients customers and commercial Customers, creating and negotiating sustainable payment arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • Inbound and outbound telephone activity for Overdales clients.
  • Inbound and outbound telephone activity for Overdales Commercial clients.
  • Information gathering from clients customers to ensure repayment offers are sustainable
  • Fair negotiations to settle customers accounts
  • Identify and ensure the fair treatment of customers in vulnerable situations
  • To review, maintain, accurately update and amend account records on the collection system
  • Manual case management via review list between inbound calls, this will require manual outbound calls to companies, multiple calls in some cases, to ascertain and contact the correct person or team at the business
  • Carry out online checks to verify and validate company information including solvency status
  • Exceed individual performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI\xe2\x80\x99s)
  • Fully comply with company processes and procedures
  • Fully comply with industry regulatory procedures directly relating to the Company
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Education to GCSE Grade C standard including Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to empathise
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully with others in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work using own initiative, without supervision
  • High personal and work standards, excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy
  • Ability to ensure that data is processed correctly and kept confidential at all times
