Join us as a Debt & Ratings Advisory VP

  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll be supporting companies with optimising their capital structure, obtaining and maintaining credit ratings, and financing strategic events

What you\'ll do

In this key role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll utilise your in-depth knowledge of bank capabilities to provide comprehensive support of the origination effort and provide active management in day-to-day execution for customers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll provide support to senior originators in building and maintaining the business with a defined set of clients as well as in execution of transactions to appropriate standards.

We\xe2\x80\x99ll look to you to contribute to expanding the scope and profitability of the franchise by identifying and originating new opportunities from existing relationships or developing new profitable relationships in a timely manner. You\'ll also establish and maintain a detailed analytical and commercial understanding of client businesses in order to identify opportunities for broader product capabilities.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll also:
  • Provide accurate, relevant, and insightful input on capital structuring and ratings to clients
  • Develop insightful client pitches with analytical and advisory focus and ideas
  • Provide strong execution capability to deliver appropriate solutions to clients
  • Drive dialogue with clients using product, sector and capital structure expertise across geographies in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Develop a strong network of internal relationships within key partners and with other product capabilities to identify relevant bank solutions for customers
  • Operate to the highest standards of credit and underwriting risk management and stewardship
The skills you\'ll need

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone with in depth knowledge of the Corporates & Institutions and wider group product capabilities relevant to the target customer base. You\xe2\x80\x99ll demonstrate commercial capabilities to create relevant and appropriate solutions for customers that are sustainably profitable to the bank.

You\'ll have a track record of working with others to deliver complex transactions for customers, and the ability to build a culture of inclusion, personal development and entrepreneurship. You\xe2\x80\x99ll hold a diploma in Lending Skills or have other relevant comparable qualification.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll also need:
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create presentations independently and with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various areas of the project team
  • The ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities on several simultaneous projects
  • Good networking skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with clients and stakeholders
